Does this practice care for those who suffer from obesity and need weight loss management?

Yes! If you have obesity due to a mental health condition or as a result of a psychotropic medication you have been on, we can help manage both your mental health condition and your obesity.

What are your hours of operation?

We are a small practice with flexible hours to fit client’s ​needs. Hours vary. Appointment availability can be found online ​(additional times by email request.)

Do you take cash payments?

Yes! We offer new consultation visits for $325, and follow-up visits are $160.

We do offer cash-pay discounts and cash-pay memberships. Please email for more details.

How does telehealth work?

We use a secure platform through an app called Spruce. When you schedule your appointment, you will receive a link to set up your account, and on the day of your appointment and time, you will click the link, and we will be able to see each other by video.

Who can benefit from telehealth psychiatry?

People with busy schedules: Those who find it difficult to take time off for in-person appointments can conveniently access care from home or work.

Individuals in remote areas: Telehealth makes psychiatric services accessible to those in rural or underserved areas, where mental health care options may be limited.

Those with limited mobility or transportation: Individuals with physical disabilities, transportation challenges, or health conditions that make travel difficult can receive care without leaving their homes.

Patients seeking continuity of care: Telehealth allows for consistent follow-ups and medication management, ensuring ongoing support without frequent office visits.

Anyone seeking privacy and convenience: Telehealth offers a more private and comfortable setting for those who may feel anxious or stigmatized about visiting a mental health provider in person.

Do you offer emergency services?

No! This is not an emergency service. We do not have on-call providers outside of business hours; this includes nights and weekends because we are a small practice with varying hours. Phone calls and emails will be returned within 24-48 hours. If you are having a life-threatening emergency or feel suicidal or homicidal, please call 911!

Is telehealth secure and confidential?

Yes! Your information is protected, and as long as you are not a threat to yourself or anyone else, your care and health needs are private. We adhere to HIPAA. Our texting, email, patient portal, phone, and video calls are all secure and HIPAA compliant.

Will I need to fill out forms or receive forms from you?

Yes! Once you schedule your appointment by clicking the SCHEDULE link, important mandatory forms will be sent. They include but are not limited to consent forms, an Acknowledgment of Receipt of Notice of Privacy Practices, and an Assignment of Benefits / Financial Responsibility. You will also receive a practice polices letter and assessment forms.
